If you have been waiting more than 40 weeks for your first outpatient appointment or a scheduled date for surgery with us, you could now be eligible for Alternative Patient Choice.

If you’ve been referred to us you may receive an appointment to visit one of our outpatient departments, be invited for a telephone call or even a video consultation.

Please check before attending whether your appointment is in person at one of our outpatient departments or virtual; via telephone call or video call.

Some patients will be offered a ‘patient initiated follow up’ (PIFU) appointment.
